Wishes for Alexis
Wishes for Alexis. Yah yah… call me that crazy mom with all the photos with the mommy and me photo shoot. Do I care? Mostly likely, I don’t. I said it in my last post here. A child having her first (or his first) birthday is a very memorable year! It’s all the firsts and learning about your child. All the joys and the struggles that comes with being a mom in general. What is her personality like? Are they clingy or independent? Or both?
My babies are extremely happy. I can tell you as a mom–I PRAYED FOR THAT. I pray for many things regarding them but happy is number one in my book. People always tell me how happy they both are at school and just happy in general. So if there is one thing I could wish for them both-being happy throughout their life and to find joy in things they do!
This post is going to be a little different than most…other than just showing a bunch of photos of well, me in clothes and you interpreting for yourself. I am describing each photo and what it means in my perspective. Wishes for Alexis. As a mother raising a little girl. Call me sappy. Whatevs. It’s my blog after all! You can find my dress here.
I hope that you can tell me any and every hardship life throws your way. So that I can guide you into a well rounded human. I want to talk you through every tear life throws you way.
I hope that you are confident with a little bit of sass. That way no one can take advantage of my sweet baby girl. I want you stand on your own and hopefully to NEVER be bullied.
I hope you know my shoulder is always here for you.
I hope that you have compassion for people in general. That you aren’t afraid of failing. If you do fail that it makes you stronger. And that you educate yourself in whichever field you choose.
I hope that you NEVER stop dreaming and dream BIG. You can do whatever you want when you set your mind to it. Always follow your passion and follow your heart. If your dreams change…that’s totally ok, I will be here to help in anyway that I can.
I hope that you know how pretty you really are and not to listen to those silly boys.
I hope that you are a very proud little girl. And that your strengths shine through when times are tough or you are having a bad day.
I hope that you have many friends and surround yourself with positive people. That you are strong enough to set boundaries for people to not over step.
My sweet Asher is always here to help with Alexis. I hope that never changes, I hope that they are close siblings for the rest of their life.
I hope that he knows I am always here for him.
Just about the sweetest photo of all!
I hope that he watches over his sister. That he protects her because they are so close in age. I’m pretty positive he will!
Him and daddy went to go swimming tonight and he had to give her a hug bye. Literally, he’s the sweetest boy ever!
Special thanks to dr. Delphinium for sponsoring this post and making these AMAZING flower crowns!
Thanks to my readers for checking this post out! It’s a little out of my comfort zone. Definitely not fashion related but it’s what I feel in my heart. If there is anything you ever want to see here on my blog… please drop me a comment in the box below. Xo, Kristi
